This was the third night this week that I’ve been out of the house. I’m glad these weeks only come once a month. Tuesday evening was the COR meeting. Last night was district committee meeting and Little Philmont planning. Tonight was Roundtable. All very important meetings but it is always good to come home.

BYU and the Church officially announced a hiring freeze today in the news but we’ve known about it for a week. We lost Nic to the Church just before and because of the hiring freeze. I am sad to see him go but I hope he will be happy there. It may be an opportunity for us to connect more with the North Temple group and cross pollinate.

The snowstorms have come one after another this year. I turn into a kid every time. We are supposed to get more snow tomorrow. I slipped and bruised my bottom on the way to work this morning. Ouch! Made for an uncomfortable day of work. Hoping tomorrow will be better. Still, I’ve enjoyed shoveling and playing in the snow with the girls.
