John Dilworth’s artwork has everything I love. Geometry, Math, Design, Art, Golden Section, Patterns, History and Good Taste. I’m green with envy. I wish I was that good.
Fortunately, I don’t have to be that good – I can now buy John Dilworth’s artwork.
Nic pointed me to this wonderfully simple little utility for locking your screen on Mac OS X. I had built my own solution using AppleScript and Quicksilve custom triggers. However, it didn’t prevent the normal screen saver from launching if I had already started it. Hopefully, this overcomes that shortcoming.
My friend and co-worker Nic Johnson finished his last day at the library today. It breaks my heart to see him go. We enjoyed just a little over a year together designing the webs. Although it hasn’t been long, I will miss him.
I’m hopeful for the future. I’m glad that we’ll still have contact through our related orgnizations. Perhaps our futures are both brighter for this change.
